日常生活中，我们常常用到一些英文缩写，比如W.C、WIFI等，但是你知道他们的全称是什么吗？

1、W.C，厕所；

全称：watercloset.

释义：atoilet–usedespeciallyonsignsinpublicplaces.

很早以前，厕所Toilet里都有水箱watercloset，人们一提到watercloset就想到了toilet，因此watercloset就成了toilet的代名词。后来为了方便，人们就用watercloset的开头字母W.C.来代替toilet。

全称：curriculumvitae.

3、P.S.，附言；

全称：PostScripts.

释义：

amessagewrittenattheendofaletterafteryouhavesignedyourname

这是早期英文信件的常用方式来补充信息，原因很明确:手写信件再改动的话就不好看了，后演变成注明重要信息的方式。
